Throughout the year, The Arthritis Society provides great educational programs to help people manage their arthritis and encourages them to walk, run, bicycle and do exercises to keep their joints working. The Society also promotes fitness through its annual fund-raising events including the Jingle Bell Walk Run in New Westminster, The National Walk to Fight Arthritis in June, the Joints in Motion program all year round and the People's Classic Bicycle event down the Oregon Coast in September.
The beginning of this group stems from the fact that a meetup group with a classical music theme is scarce, and pretty much non-existent in Vancouver. This group aims to bring together those fond of classical music to meet like-minded people and have an enjoyable time. Working professionals who are an avid listener of classical music or play an instrument as a hobby can look forward to the vast opportunities for engaging activities, ranging from simple or thought-provoking discussions over coffe …
What is Steampunk? Steampunk simply embodies a time and a place. The time... the late 19th century, the place... a steam powered world, where air travel by fantastical airships and submarines is as common as traveling by car, train, or boat It's a place where national boundaries and interests are vastly different than our own version of history, where the elegant and refined are as likely to get pulled into a grand adventure, as the workers, ruffians, and lower classes. The idea of space travel …

We meet in the host's house a five-minute walk from Joyce skytrain station. Doors open at 7pm, we start the rock movie of the night at 8p …
