Fledgling Scottish branch of the Asian Classics Institute (ACI - http://acidharma.org), dedicated to the serious study and practice of the original teachings of Buddhism. In March 2012, we brought American Buddhist nun, Venerable Jigme Palmo, to Teach in Edinburgh.  We are now in the process of putting together a regular meetup to practice meditation and discuss Buddhism. We meet regularly to watch and discuss horror films with fellow fans of the genre.  Whether your thing is 70s giallo, 80s italian zombies, Asian extreme, Hammer Horror, slashers, splatters, exploitation, grindhouse, iconic 1930s Universal monsters, recent blockbusters, film festivals, this is the group for you! This meetup group is for everyone who loves theatre. For Culture Vultures who appreciate the wide and varied theatres and productions available to visit Scotland wide. We plan to arrange trips to many of the interesting and diverse venues in Scotland's major cities like Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee as well as smaller towns like Perth and Pitlochry. We will seek out innovative theatre as well as some old classics.
